But it doesn’t always have to be the meatball, delicious meatballs can also be prepared with fish. We have a recipe for you here with quark and oatmeal. And these cakes are cooked in the oven. Try it!

Recipe for fish meatballs

You need these ingredients: 400 grams of cooked white fish fillet (this can be aden, for example), 200 grams of low-fat quark, 3 spring onions, 60 grams of delicious oatmeal, salt and pepper

This is how it works: Wash the spring onions and cut into thin rings, including the greens. Chop the fish fillet with a fork. Mix with the quark and oat flakes, adding each pinch of salt and pepper. Add some oatmeal if necessary. Let the dough swell.

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Cover a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Form the fish mass into meatballs with wet hands, there should be twelve pieces. Arrange the meatballs on the baking sheet and place in the hot oven. After about 20 minutes, the fish cakes are fried.

Tip: If you plan the fish cakes as a main course, leeks go very well with them. To do this, clean, wash and cut the leek into rings. Heat the oil in a pan, sauté the leeks in it. Drizzle with broth, add creamy fraîche and season with salt and a touch of grated nutmeg.

Or they just serve a dip with the meatballs, for example one Soak a pumpkin. Grate a small pumpkin, mix with 150 grams of quark, a little olive oil and a little finely chopped garlic, salt and pepper.
